Why do I have to register?
You register in order to be in the network of artition. You will have your own account, which means a profile of you that other people in the network can see and learn more about your work, yourself, and can contact you. When you are registered you can upload your artworks and be part of the network.
How do I register?
You register by clicking on the button ‚register‘ or ‚sign up for free‘ on the top right corner. You will then have to make up a user name, that will be your nickname in the network. Please do also provide an E-Mail address, a link will be sent to you, that will confirm your person and activate your account on our server. You then create a password that you use to login to artition, whenever you visit the site. After this you choose your time zone and artition will set you your local time. Lastly you accept the terms & conditions and the terms of use and your registration is completed.
How do I upload artworks?
You upload artworks by using the button ‚upload artworks‘. You will than have to ‚create a new gallery‘ and click on ‚choose files‘. Now you can browse through your hard drive to find what you want to upload. Lastly you click on the button ‚upload‘ and it‘s done. Artition will display your uploaded artwork shortly after your file is on our server.
What are the geotags?
The geotags are tags on the world map that represent either a special event, or an artwork on a specific place, or any interesting insider. Registered users can tag whatever they like. It will be reviewed by our team and then displayed for all.
How do I get recognized?
To get recognized with your work and your talent, you have to be an active member. This means you have to interact within the community. Connecting with other members, joining groups, attending events, taking part in the contests, tagging your works (make it easier for others to search for your work). Once you are a known member in the community others will rate your art high much more likely, so that it will be displayed in the top rated artworks section.
What file types can be uploaded?
Everything from videos to pictures, sound and text. If you find an unsupported file type please contact us.
